2014 LoCo Ice Bowl Results

Funds Raised for Loudoun Interfaith Relief: $775

The final tallies are in and I’m happy to announce we raised $775 for Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Thank you to everyone who raised money, donated prizes, and especially to the twenty players who showed up in what I’m calling the 20/20 (mid 20’s w/20 mph gusts) to battle it out. Here’s how things shook out.

3rd Annual LoCo Ice Bowl and Chili Cook-off


The LoCo Disc Golf Club is proud to host the third annual Ice Bowl and Chili Cook-off to benefit Loudoun Interfaith Relief.

Saturday, January 25th, 2014
Registration: 9 – 10AM
Players Meeting: 10:15AM
Tee-time: 10:30AM

REGISTRATION

LoCo Disc Golf Club Members: $25 + 2 cans of food [Pre-register via PayPal (+ $1 for processing)]
Non-Members: $30 + 2 cans of food [Pre-register via PayPal (+ $1 for processing)]

FUNDRAISERS

Hole Sponsorships are available for $20 [Pay via PayPal (+ $1 for processing)]
All proceeds go to Loudoun Interfaith Relief

Meet at the Rotary Pavilion near hole #10

LoCo Random Draw Doubles Return March 14

After a long dark winter spring has sprung and LoCo Random Draw Doubles returns to Franklin Park in Purcellville, VA. Doubles start up March 14th starting at 5PM in March and April and then moves to 6PM in May for the remainder of the season. See you out there.

What: LoCo Random Draw Doubles
Where: Hole 10 at Franklin Park
When: Thursdays at 5pm March 14th – April 25th; 6pm May 2nd – November 28th
Cost: $5 plus optional ace pot

2013 LoCo Ice Bowl Results

Thank you to everyone who showed up for the 2nd Annual LoCo Ice Bowl at Franklin Park. 31 golfers braved temps in the mid 30’s and wind gusts that exceed 35 MPH. Congrats to Russell Jessop, Sam Shiley, and Gusty Golden for each winning their divisions in a playoff, and congratulations to Scot Ferris for cooking the winning pot of chili.
