Join us for the 8th Annual Brent Anderson Memorial presented by Flying Ace Farm on Sunday, June 9th at Clark’s Run!
The spirit of Brent Anderson is woven throughout Clark’s Run, soaring above the trees and swimming in the streams. Every spring, we get together and celebrate Brent’s life by playing disc golf on the course he loved and poured his heart and soul into.
This will be a True Amateur Event again this year (per PDGA CM 2.05). We’re building a sweet player pack for all amateurs that includes a Justin Lago event stamp disc, a LoCo Disc Golf logo mini, and a custom printed Clark’s Run course map towel.
There will be trophies for all division champions provided by Rugged & Rustic Creations and our presenting sponsor Flying Ace Farm Distillery & Brewery will host everyone at the farm afterward for a couple of cold beverages on the house.
This event is also a LoCo Disc Golf Club fundraiser for the ongoing maintenance and development of Clark’s Run Disc Golf Course. Since last year’s event, we’ve added a new basket location and two new tee pads thanks to a legion of volunteers and contributions from players like you. All proceeds from this event go right back into the course we’re playing on.
The tentative layout for this event will be White tees to Yellow baskets with exceptions noted below:
2 – Short pin (new)
4 – Blue tee
8 – Red tee (new)
We’ll be starting on hole 2 this year and, as noted, it will be in the new(ish) short pin position. This is closer to the water and surrounded by OB on all sides. To ease your fear, or at least distract you from it, Rob Stark is sponsoring the $1000 Bluechip Bounty which will reward those who ace hole 2 but ONLY if you choose the $5 Bluechip Bounty Ace Pot option during registration.
