LoCo Disc Golf
It’s that time once again, friends. Tis the season of putting food on the plates of those in need. Please help us help Loudoun Hunger Relief in their steadfast mission to feed the hungry here in Loudoun County. Year after year the LoCo Disc Golf Club has shown up and made a BIG difference. Last year we raised almost $25,000 and donated more than any other disc golf club participating in the annual Ice Bowl. Can we do it again this year?
It’s finally official and it’s getting attention! LoudounNow has published articles announcing that the LoCo Disc Golf club is the world’s leader in Ice Bowl fundraising efforts having raised $24,355 for 2021 edging out the Mile High Club in Colorado that brought in 24,096. The Mile High Club represents the entire state of Colorado and has held onto the record for the past 8 straight years. Look out Colorado, there’s a new baller on the block!

Now that has a nice ring to it! Wait till next year. We’ve have to bring it again.

WOW!!! Speechless! For those of you that missed out on the 4th Annual LoCo Ice Bowl and Chili Cook-Off you REALLY missed out! Brian Junkins nailed it again this year and blew away the goal of reaching $1,000 to benefit Loudoun Interfaith Relief. Thanks to everyone who helped and donated (you know who you are), the LoCo Disc Golf Club was able to raise OVER $3,000!!!! That’s just amazing! Good job everything that helped make it happen! Also, a special thanks to Matt Shaffer for collecting/donating over $750, the most by a single individual, and the recipient of a new Innova Discatcher Traveler!
